Scope

These terms govern the use of DwarvenCraft, operated by full legal name or company. By creating an account you accept them.

Your account

An account is free. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for the accuracy of the details you provide when registering.

Your content and the rights to it

You keep the rights to the assets and maps you create.

Before publishing an asset or map, you must explicitly choose either the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0) or the Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal public-domain dedication (CC0 1.0). There is no automatic default licence.

The selected licence is displayed with the publication and governs how the operator and other users may store, display, copy, modify and reuse it. CC BY 4.0 requires attribution; CC0 1.0 permits reuse without an attribution requirement. You confirm that you hold the rights needed to offer the content under the selected licence.

Be aware: a published asset is always delivered as source. The City Builder cannot place an asset without loading its complete construction. Publishing therefore also reveals how it was built, and others can adapt it.

What may not be published

Content you do not hold the necessary rights to; content infringing the rights of others; unlawful, harmful or abusive content; and content technically designed to disrupt the platform.

Submissions are reviewed before they go live. The operator may reject content or hide it afterwards.

Reports and removal of content

Signed-in users with a verified email address can report a published asset or map for suspected copyright infringement, inappropriate content, technical breakage or another stated reason. Reports must be made in good faith and include enough information for the issue to be assessed.

The operator reviews reports and may hide or remove affected content, reject a report where no violation is found, or request further information. Urgent legal notices can also be sent to the contact address stated in the imprint.

Authors may withdraw their own publications from the market. Removing a publication does not revoke an open licence already granted for copies that other users obtained while it was available.

Availability

DwarvenCraft is under active development. No particular feature set and no uninterrupted availability are guaranteed. Keep your own backups of work that matters to you.

Liability

have the liability clause reviewed — blanket exclusions are largely unenforceable under German law

Termination

You may delete your account at any time. During deletion, you choose whether all of your assets and maps are removed or whether content you previously published remains available in the official archive. Private and unpublished content is always removed.

If you choose archival, the archived publication keeps a snapshot of the creator name, credit line and licence shown at publication time, but is no longer linked to your deleted account. The selected open licence continues to apply to copies already obtained by others.
